a dope lancer

March 1st, 2010 | By Raidz

This dude’s stance is the best i’ve seen for a Lancer.

As some people say, Stance Is everything.

I am beginning to become a firm believer in that, which in time as i get both of my cars sitting proper, and show you them.

Some Jetta Love

February 1st, 2010 | By Raidz

The video editing just down right inspires me to stop being lazy, load up Vegas Pro and just start editing videos! Props to Brandon Nero for building a clean Jetta GLI.

I think I may have found a new song of week, “Bad Girl” by Girls Love Shoes, is the current song in the video. Youtube app via Aux cable, on my Palm Pre!

The Area Drift Club

January 29th, 2010 | By Raidz

Today has been a great day so far, has not it? If you day is feeling a little blue, throw on some Muevete from the Music section. The night will be even better, why you may ask.

Simply because of a special event going on at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona this evening, Drift & Drag. Best bet is to arrive early due to rush-hour traffic, but the event starts at 6:00 PM and lasts until midnight.

The AREA will also be there in full force, only a few of us will be drifting though. I brought my camera so we can record some videos and post them up later on.

I will be there in a silver S13 coupe, so if you see me come holla at me. If you have a helmet, i will give you a ride along (just ask)!

Do not know where Firebird Raceway is? Do not fret! Raidz has you covered.

You will take the I10 south (Coming from Phoenix), and take exit 162 Wildhorse Pass, make a right, then the next left.

It will not be in the main entrance, there is a side entrance if you are going to be drifting. To spectate it will set you back $10. To drift $40, to drag is $30. To both, drag & drift it will be $50.

AREA REPRESENT!

The Nissan GT-R

January 28th, 2010 | By Raidz

The owner of this GT-R plays for the Los Angeles Lakers sporting the #17 jersey, Andrew Bynum, Averaging 15.8 points-per-game as a Center.

In the world of star athletes there are celebs like Michael Phelps, satisfied with shiny black wheels, and then there are the afflicted. For example: Laker’s Center Andrew Bynum with his “Giant Killer” Nissan GT-R and its $20K body kit.

For the $20K it’ll cost you, the Wald Sports Line Black Bison body kit adds a Japanese-tuner-style aggressive touch, though we’re not big on the black strip featuring various brands in an orange script. It works better on a Honda.

Performance upgrades are fairly standard and include an upgraded intake, freer-flowing exhaust, ECU tune and Turbosmart dual-port blow-off valves. And of course, because he’s still a young and wealthy athlete, there are the expected 21-inch black wheels, but at least these are forged aluminum instead of chrome.

The car is featured in this month’s issue of Super Street.

The Car Stopper

January 28th, 2010 | By Raidz

Do you remember 2 Fast 2 Furious? Specifically the part where the cop shoots Brian’s (Not Mr. Cordova ;-) ) Evo with the ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP for short) bullet.

Look at the Rear driver side door, and you see a silver batman-look-a-like hook lodged into the door.

Ok we are all refreshed now, but also remember how the EMP slowly stopped the car?

Well it was only a matter of time I suppose, but it is real, and being instituted into the Military as we speak.

Later on in the future, Cops will be armed with hand-held versions of these EMP guns. Which means No more high speed chases, or endangering the lives of others. Which also means that Street Racers will be having a very tough time. So always run around with an extra Car Computer, just in-case yours gets fried!

OPTiKX > BMW Odyssey

December 22nd, 2009 | By Raidz

As most unknown to you all, I (Raidz) own www.optikx.net. Being that All Day & I share creative ideas, I decided to solely use my site for my design & photography portfolio.

What is OPTiKX? It is a variation of optics (just spelled differently), which means to have it pertain to, or use your vision/sight. All in all, I am illustrating eye candy for you.

Which brings me to my next update in this new found feature. This minivan is a Honda Odyssey. With a BMW E92 M3 front end!

FEATURE > Not Your Average Civic

December 18th, 2009 | By Raidz

This is not your average run of the mill Honda Civic you see on the streets. This beast is bred to race. Stanced nicely. You can’t help but notice the MASSIVE intercooler in the front bumper. No headlights. A Password JDM air duct, along with a Bling! what seems to be a temperature gauge. How cool is that.

Copper wheels, valve cover, nearly everything is copper dipped, and plated. The details are immaculate, you have to click to read the rest of the feature to truly grasp on the vision, the owner of this car has portrayed for us.
