So every year Forbes releases a list of the richest people in the world. They recently revealed a list for Hip Hop artists/entertainers.

Jay-Z has topped the list again! A BIG jump from last year’s $35 Million. Why is Jay-Z number one again? For starters, Jigga man owns the 40/40 clubs, is partial owner of the New Jersey Nets basketball team. Oh and I neglected to mention that he earns more than $1 million PER. SHOW. Among being the highest earner this year, guess how much he is being taxed on it? $22 Million dollars worth. That is more than what everyone earned this year (with the exception of P. Diddy) that he is just paying in TAXES.

Speaking of Mr. Combs, his Ciroc branded Vodka is making most of his money (I can say that it is goood). Then his movie role in the comedy, Get Him to The Greek. Don’t forget about those Diddybeats headphones. Which is a subsidiary of Dr. Dre’s, Beats by Dre.

Miss Lady Gaga is making millions right? With her Monster Ball tour & smash album. But who signed her? Why none other than, AKON! That’s right, Akon that guy who threw that kid off stage.

BTW what happened to Mr. Curtis Jackson? Remember the Forbes 1, 2, 3 song? Ouch.

As you can see, most of the music producers fill up the list. Almost most of them do own their record label as well. So their income isn’t just coming from one source.

Remember make your moves & network as much as possible, and grind it out for your LIFE, not someone else’s!

On Shaquille O’Neal’s tv show, “Shaq Vs”, the NBA star takes on different athletes weekly to see if he can beat them in their chosen field.

This week, the 7’1, 325 pound giant took on 5’8, 147 pound boxing champ Sugar Shane Mosely.

The bout was scheduled for five, 5 minute rounds with the loser having to walk around in a pink bikini from one end of Caesar’s Palace to the other.

Skyline X Movie Trailer

Skyline is an upcoming science-fiction thriller movie directed by the Strause brothers (Colin Strause and Greg Strause: their company Hydraulx has provided visual effects for Avatar, Iron Man 2, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and 300). The story takes place in a Los Angeles high rise where a small group of survivors brave a mysterious attack of otherworldly origins. The cast includes Eric Balfour, Donald Faison, Scottie Thompson, and Brittany Daniel. The movie Skyline will be released on November 12, 2010.

I think Alien abduction on a mass scale is pretty cool. But then again, Stephen Hawking made some recent comments regarding Humans going extinct without space travel.

Sextapes x the ticket to fame

With the release of Montana Fishburne’s sextape, you can’t help but realize that sextapes are on the rise. They’re definitely not as “taboo” as they used to be. Let’s think back to Pam Anderson and Tommy Lee’s tape back in ’98. Safe to say this was the birth of the celebrity sextape. Back then, it was considered to be something “private” so when it dropped, it sold like hot cakes! Now Tommy and Pam allege the tape was “stolen” from their home when renovations were being made while some say they leaked it themselves. Now let’s go to 2004, Paris Hilton’s sextape is released. 2007, Kim Kardashian and  Ray J’s tape was released. Kim and Paris both filed lawsuits dealing with the sextape but later settled for undisclosed amounts. Again, rumor was that Kim and Paris were in on their tapes. Needless to say, these celeb sextapes cause sky rocketing careers and also cause more to “leak”.

Now its 2010 and Montana Fishburne’s sextape is the latest to drop. This time, its under very different circumstances. Montana filmed and purposely filmed a sextape for release. It don’t believe it’s still considered a sextape since it was made to be distributed publicly. Montana has stated in interviews that she wanted her video to be put out because it worked for Kim Kardashian’s career. She might be right in her case because the videos have been flying off shelves. Her father, Lawrence Fishburne, tried to make an unsuccessful of $1 million to halt the release of the videos.

Personally I don’t think Montana should be considered anything but a porn star. At least with Pamela, Paris, and Kim their tapes were with their husband or boyfriend at the time. Montana’s was filmed with a porn star.

So question is, are sextapes the ticket to fame? It really depends. For some it worked while for most it did not. Examples? Chyna, Amy Fisher, etc. I’m sure there’s more but I’m not a big porno buff. So ladies, please be respectful and keep everything private. If you want it to be broadcasted then just become a porn star. If you really look at it, the stars that became stars from their tapes are not really respected or doing any major films. You either want the fame of a major film or be known for having a big butt.

First off, I want to commend Megan Fox. This morning it was reported that she donated her appearance fee for this music video to Sojourn House. Sojourn House is a shelter for abused women. Very admirable. Secondly, it took me this long to post this video because it hits home a bit. For those of you that know me personally, you know why it’s very hard to watch this. For women that truly have been in this situation, all I can say is learn to leave or ask for help. There’s nothing you can do to help your abuser but you can help yourself. It’s an all too familiar problem with both men and women, so you are NEVER alone.

Knowing me by now, I enjoy posting varies types of fashion trends when it comes to clothing, ranging from urban to casual, and casual to a more business attire. I strongly believe the way one dresses reflects the current mood one is feeling. For instance, when getting dressed, one decides on whether pants or shorts, t-shirt or a button up. Of course, not taking for granted the genre of wardrobe selected mainly pertains to what one’s day will consist of, one still decides what to wear from the available probability within the narrowed clothing genre for that day.

It was crazy. It’s crazy. It’s crazy because at one point we were very close and she was a really good person. It’s crazy when you see things not just with her but just all these things that are happening in Hollywood with people in music, with people in acting . . .

Famous people. Famous people are overdosing at alarming rates and—that almost sounded like a commercial. Wow.

Right. But they are. And it’s one of those things man where you’re famous, doctors will kiss your ass because they love the celebrity. “Oh, I can call up Eminem and get him on the phone right now. Oh, hi Marshall, how are you doing? Do you need that [prescription]?” There are doctors that will give you certain things just because of who you are.
