Have you ever had to print something for work and print 220 extra copies than desired and make the printer jam? This is me at work today. TGIF, I am anxious for the weekend.
… and a glass bottle of Moscato
Just a couple of minutes ago, my fraternity brother, Francisco, from Sigma Lambda Beta, who is my upstairs neighbor, stopped by my apartment and knocked on my door. Totally out of the blue for me, he said “hey man, sorry about what happen with your car (my car got broken into a couple of days ago, they broke the window and stole my stereo). I have been having these laying around my apartment, I thought you might want them. Enjoy!” Wow! Totally took me by surprise! He is truly a great person! Thanks bro! This is truly one of those moments when something bad happens, but it ends with a happy ending! Thanks!
Here are a couple of pictures from my trip to Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico. My family and I went out there for a couple of days, mostly just the weekend. Nuevo Casas Grandes is where my mom’s side of the family is from, with that said, the reason why we went over was to celebrate my uncle’s weddings and my cousin’s quinceañera (15th birthday). I honestly had such a blast! I do not think I had this much fun from all the times I have been there. I think the reason was because I had my cousin Taz (Jose) tag along with me from Phoenix and I also got to hang out with Manny (Fresh), since he met up with us down there. Hope ya’ll enjoy the photos! Also, shout outs to our friend Ashely who came over to visit and had lunch with us at Carl’s Jr while we stopped to eat in Douglas, Arizona!
WOW! What a great semester! So much learning about everything, even about myself. I am officially a senior now at Arizona State. Just one more year to go upon graduation! Hereee I gooooo!!
This is a brief 40 second snippet of the new comedy series “O&A”. Be on the look out for the entire season coming soon to theAREA! (The volume is quite low, so make sure to put it up before you watch this and click on the image to view the movie.)
Hello AREA visitors,
Granted I have been occupied with my studies and preparing for finals; as you all can see, it had been a couple of days since I have done any posting. However, as of tonight, I have only one final left for tomorrow’s morning at 7:30am, which will sum up what is left of this great academic semester! I would ask you all to wish me luck in tomorrow’s exam, however, luck is for the unprepared.. and that is not the case for me. Once again, thanks for your loyal viewing of theAREA. In addition, I have a couple of posting to do in the near future regarding what I have been up to this past week, because by far, I have been up to a lot in so little time.
I have never tried Pizza Hut’s hot wings until now, I usually go to Long Wongs, however, these wings were delicious! I had the buffalo burning hot and spicy BBQ, you should try them if you have not yet. I will advise, they are spicy! On another note, I am glad I was able to content my stomach with such satisfying food and being able to complete my homework. Ah, only 12 days till this semester comes to an end!
I decided to take my family out to eat at Sushi 101 in Tempe, Az. The food was delicious! I ate plenty of enjoyable sushi, teriyaki chicken with a tasteful sauce, and some kind of soup which was okay… I was not much of a fan toward the soup, however, everything else was satisfying. I will certainly be visiting this location again.
Welcome to my Criminal Justice course at Arizona State University.. nothing better than chips and vitamin water to help pay full attention to today’s lecture, agree?
Today after class in Tempe, I went over to my friend’s apartment. His name is Adam Kiraly, but I just call him Kiraly because it sounds so much cooler. Kiraly use to be one of my sweetmates during the fall of 2009, when Raidz use to be my roommate, along with Taz, my cousin. Ah, good memories. Anyways, Kiraly is a great friend, he always makes me laugh with his remarks about life. Today while at his apartment, we were mesmerizing when we use to hang out at our apartment and watch endless hours of the HBO Entourage after a 4 hour session of pure R&B recording at our apartment. I truly miss those days. In fact, Kiraly and I collaborated in a song called “Summer Nights”, which we created in 2009. It has yet to be released because the song is stored in my old pc, which is no longer functioning, and we have yet to transfer my hard drive data into my new pc. On a brighter side, today Kiraly and I did had a freestyle session at his apartment, which is something neither of us had done in a very long time. To our surprise, the song we created was pretty dope! Too bad we were not able to record any of it. Later that evening, we went on to get a bite to eat and came back home because one of his colleagues was going to shoot a video for his film class at ASU and not surprisingly enough, Kiraly was one of the main actors in the short film. I wanted to play a role in the short film as a bystander wearing an AREA shirt for promotional reasons, but unfortunately I was not wearing one at the time. Either way, I was quite exhausted so I came home before the actual shoot began. I will keep in touch with Kiraly to post the aftermath of the video on here.
Eating breakfast this morning reminded me of when Raidz and I use to live together back in fall of ’09 at ASU’s Cholla Apartments. This use to be what Raidz use to eat all the time! lol
It gets super intensive with the hotness of the weather! I am glad I was finally able to go to a local A/C shop on 35th Avenue and Roosevelt to get my a/c compressor swap installed, vacuumed, and freon.
