During 2009 I had mentioned to a_D to let me change the area’s Layout. Sure enough, after a few times it finally worked, true this is the year 2010. Big Things happening this year! Just wait to see what we have in store.

I want to say the layout is a work in progress, but everything is fully functional. I will be redoiing the pages, adding a downloads page, cannot let the cat out of the bag just yet .

Under so much pressure and plenty of dead lines to complete. I simply cannot find enough time for myself and get a good amount of rest. I feel like I am being pulled by all different angles. I ain’t going to talk much about it. I am just going to embrace it all and keep on grinding.

By the way, I forgot to mention that this past weekend I played my second soccer game. As a team, we played well. I am still rusty and lacking on running condition, but we managed to win the game 4-3.

VOLUNTEER x CRISIS NURSERY

Two years ago I made a four year commitment to volunteer with foster care children. Since the first day I began to volunteer with these children, it made an impact in my life. It allow me to become more humble and to appreciate everything I have, not only referring to material objects but friends and family.

Today I went over to Crisis Nursery, a local foster care center in phoenix, to volunteer with children. I had an awesome time playing Go Fish, Chess, Checkers, and basketball with the children.

My colleague Becky was kind enough to forward me an email for a possible paid internship program. This position requires three to six college students to interact with Jr. high and high school students; creating fun educational actives, tutoring, and mentoring. I mailed it out today, wish me luck!

Woke up this morning with an urge for PANCAKES! I can honestly admit, I consider myself a great cook; although, I have never made pancakes before. This is the aftermath of my cooking, first pancake did not represent the traditional shape of a pancake. By my second attempt, it was golden.

CARNEGIE MELLON UNIVERSITY x SNEAKEROLOGY 101 CLASS

A university level course dealing with sneaker culture on the whole. Ranging from its roots in the 1970s to its shaping by hip-hop, the internet and basketball among other factors, the course covers the overall impact of sneakers on a worldwide level. The class utilizes Bobbito Garcia’s Where’d You Get Those? for reference as well as various sneaker-based websites. Evaluations include a mid-term project pertaining to the design of a sneaker, incorporating elements acquired along the way. Interested parties can sign up for the class’ next session set for Spring of 2010
