Bad News…

So I get an email at 5:27 AM, from no one other than the RIAA, as i read through it. It is a cease & desist letter! Stating that we have to pull the plug on the area. If you do not know what the RIAA stands for it is, Recording Industry Association of America.
They basically tell us how to listen to music, what musicians to put out, namely Eminem (all the drama with him saying racial slurs in his music, and other derogatory names).
The list a few albums, but the one that got us caught is Usher’s Raymond V Raymond. Being that it barley came out yesterday, the RIAA wants to sue us for deformation, and for unpaid royalties (not sure how we owe them..)
The letter says we have to shut down, namely because we have exclusive content on the AREA.
It is a very sad day. I will further discuss things with A.D., as to what we can do next. It was a fun run.
They gave us until the end of the week to get everything off the server.
HURRICANES TAKE ANOTHER WIN

Yesterday morning, my brother had another flag football game. His team, the Hurricanes, did an amazing job! They won 19-0! By the way, my brother had four interceptions and two touchdowns! Cannot wait for next weekends game, come with!?

Unfortunately, this past weekend my baby sister, a year and half old, dislocated her shoulder and fractured her elbow. She is doing fine now. Love you Marleen!
MIDTERM x CRIMINAL JUSTICE x ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY

This past Thursday I had a midterm in my criminal justice course. All I could say is, I busted my ass studying all night! I literally studied all day Wednesday until Thursday at 6am in the morning! On top of that, when I went to sleep at 6am, I had to wake up at 8am; yeah, two hours of sleep! Then went to class and afterward studied another couple hours until I had my criminal justice exam… but most definitely, I Aced it! I recognize all the cramming and staying up late was not necessary and could of have been prevented if I had not put my studying on the side and planned accordingly, however, this proofs that although I might put things to the side, I always manage to pull weight, get it done on time and efficiently!

POW WOW x DAY 1 x RECAP ABOVE SECOND

Just recently, a mix creative minds from throughout the world congregated in Hong Kong for the launch of the inaugural art and musically-minded POW WOW affair. Headed by the minds over at Double Knot, things kicked off with the “WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA’AM!!!” exhibition at the newly opened Above Second gallery in the fledlging creative district of Sheung Wan. American-born, Hong Kong-based artist Jasper Wong came together with Chinese-born, Paris-based YUE Wu as they created a series of pieces exclusively for the show. Within the showing as well were some collaborative pieces which embodied the aesthetics of both artists. With a mostly commercial art scene dominating Hong Kong’s artistic landscape, we look forward to more events and initiatives from the creators of POW WOW.

Twisted my ankle while at my soccer game on Saturday. I figured I was going to be fine, just walk it out; apparently that was not the case. Nothing major, I will be back to normal in a couple of days.
GOODBYE OLD PC x HELLO BRAND NEW PC

So let me tell you.. this past Monday, my computer completely died on me! Yeah, died! As in I was browsing the Internet, when all of a sudden my computer shut down on me and never turned back on!? I attempted plugging and unplugging the power cord into new power outlet, but no luck. Raidz came over to diagnosed my computer to determine what was wrong. He informed me my power supply had gone bad, hence, I would be needing a new power supply or purchase a new pc. Hmmm.. keep old pc, or new pc…. NEW ONE! Besides, my old pc was like 5 years old already. Anyhow, we left to Fry’s Electronics and bought me an HP. Ah, its the best thing ever! Windows 7, dual processor, 640 GB Hard Drive, 4 GB RAm.. i love it. Raidz said he was going to attempt to transfer all my previous information from my old pc onto the one. I really hope he is successful while doing so, I have a couple of beats and songs on there which I was working on. Either way, I will definitely be working on some new music.
