Jordan Brand previews two upcoming colorways in its Air Jordan Alpha AJ1 Outdoor. Both a laser blue and varsity maize are seen, each taking on the spirit of the Air Jordan 1 and adapting it for outdoor play with more rugged and durable features. Look for these, along with several other colors, to drop next month via Jordan Brand retailers.
Following an outrage over the lack of Jordan Brand utilizing its iconic “Infrared” hue on the recent VI Retro, we see a special double pack of VI’s, scheduled to drop later this month. This upcoming release will see both a black and white version of the sneaker in its glorious Infrared colorway. Much like other dual-drops, the pack will slightly exceed the $300 price tag but should give those anxiously awaiting this retro some highly sought after satisfaction. The CP3.III pack pays homage to the iconic Air Jordan III and features its iconic elephant print and black/white/grey colorways, with the first two complete with red accents throughout. Interestingly, the black edition’s upper utilises both leather and mesh, whilst the grey model opts for an all over elephant print upper. The tribute Flip, Bred and True Blue models are each set to released soon.
Following up last month’s “Oreo” release, Jordan Brand continues the VI drops with this new colorway of the sixth signature model in the brand’s iconic Air Jordan line. The kicks pay tribute to the Detroit Pistons with a colorway featuring a mostly black base with red, white, blue and silver accents amongst suede and patent leather panels. The black/new blue-white-infrared is set for a May 8th release while the mostly black silhouette drops on June 5th, 2010.
