Hypebeast blogger Hikmet Sugoer hits us with a preview of his latest collaboration with Reebok, done up for his popular Berlin-based boutique Solebox. If you have not seen the light up feature before, Hikmet goes down that route again, featuring a light within the shoe panels, which can be switched off or on. A limited release is scheduled for early 2011, but stay tuned for further news as it comes.

Jordan Brand previews two upcoming colorways in its Air Jordan Alpha AJ1 Outdoor. Both a laser blue and varsity maize are seen, each taking on the spirit of the Air Jordan 1 and adapting it for outdoor play with more rugged and durable features. Look for these, along with several other colors, to drop next month via Jordan Brand retailers.

NIKE SB DUNK HIGH x CHROMO BALL INCIDENT

Nike SB releases official images of its footwear collection for July 2010. Featured amongst the batch is this pair of Dunk Highs, offered in a colorway inspired by the iconic Neil Blender-designed Airwalk Enigma skate shoe from the 80s. Dubbed the Chrome Ball Incident, the shoes feature an “urban haze” upper boasting hints of yellow along with black outsoles. Apparent as well are embroidered details on the lateral side, with a scissor logo tracing back to the way skaters would cut down their high tops to create a more comfortable midtop shoe. Look for these now through select Nike SB stockists.

With the release of Kobe Bryant’s Bruce Lee-inspired signature shoe, the Kobe V, the NBA superstar has jumped into straight Bruce Lee mode with a series of promotional posters. The shoe itself is modeled after the yellow jumpsuit worn by Bruce Lee in the movie, The Game of Death. From a promotional aspect, Kobe is seen mimicking various poses from some of Bruce Lee’s most iconic movie posters.
