Hello everyone! Good Morning! It feels so long since I have posted anything on here, when in reality it has only been one day! But moreover, I have been extremely occupied with my studying. There is one class I am taking which very time consuming in regards of the reading material request, but of course, your boy A_D always has everything under control. My passion is music, but I have to settle in my priority first. Education is the key! Enough with my two cents motivation. I have some hooks and verses recorded. By the way, my family is still here at my apartment. I feel super excited and good inside. I had miss them sooooo much, if I had not expressed thoroughly. I really hope they can stay…
Excited to state, my family is back in town once again! For those who do not know, my family moved to Mexico about seven months ago because they were in a struggle financially. However, now after such a long time, they are finally back and are speaking of staying here in Arizona once again. Wow, I am super excited! I had missed them soooooooo much! Here are a couple of photos I took Friday with one of my brothers, John. I did not go out, rather I decided to stay home and spend time with them. P/S That is my pet Snuggles in the other photo (cannot have real animals in the apartments I live in).
Jose Benavidez Jr is the next big thing in boxing! Mark my word! Better yet, he is coming straight out of Phoenix, Arizona! He recently turned Pro., working along with his father and recently Freddy Roach (Manny Pacquiao’s trainer) as his trainers. A couple of weekends ago, Jose Benavidez Jr gained his first professional victory at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas verse Stephen Cox. Cannot wait to see his next fight! Much respect and huge blessing toward his future in the boxing world!
It is now about to be two in the morning and I am exhausted. I have a final research paper due for COM 207 (Introduction to Communication Inquiry) this Tuesday. I am feeling a bit rushed because I am barely in the beginning stage of conducting my research. The criteria of this project asks for at least ten scholarly peer review journals as credibility when writing the essay. I have found sixteen journals related to my topic, thus far I have only read six. Keep in mind each journal is about twenty pages long and I have to make detailed notes regarding the readings! So yes, I am a tad behind on scheduling. Anyhow, I am going to bed and will not be pulling an all nighter to finish this project. The reason, I suffered a minor concussion Friday evening and I am yet in my final stages of fully recuperating, I would not want to rush things. Therefore, god bless and goodnight.

Happy Birthday wishes to the AREA’s and OPTIKX’s very own, Nick aka Raidz. He turned 21 yesterday. I loved the photo selected, too bad I was not able to taste the cake.

This entire week, our group has been meeting every single day. Matter of fact, we have been meeting about twice a day. We first meet in the mornings at 6:30am, followed by our evening meetings at 6:30pm. The reason why we have been meeting so much is because we are preparing for our final group presentation, the phenomenon of sexual commitments and boundaries. This class requires an exaggerated amount of time and effort if you want to be successful in this course. The requirements for this presentation are profound. We had to conduct several interviews, produce write-up protocols, descriptions of the interviewee’s interview, correlate possible themes found in all the individuals interviewed, outlines, creating games which are associated with our group research, a presentation, and of course, a fifty page essay summation of everything we did and our interpretation of our phenomenon. Keep in mind this task took us the entire semester to produce, approximately four months.

And once again, my cohort and I had another fundraiser event for the means up fundraising money for our Washington DC trip our senior year. This week’s fundraiser was hosted at Apple-Bee’s. I was the last member our cohort to be at Apple-Bee’s during the evening shift. Gladly while I was there, I took advantaged of my 2 for $20 meal Apple-Bee’s advertises all the time on their commercials.

If your a regular visitor of the AREA, you might have already known that I was previously playing for a soccer team with friends from my high school, Maryvale. The reason why I joined the soccer team was to be able to go outside, relief some stress with something that I love doing, bonding with friends, and of course, also get back in shape. However, what I forgot to mention to you all is that our coach actually dropped out team about three games ago. The reason for this was because not enough players were showing up. Therefore, we, the ones that would always show up at the games, decided to start an indoor soccer team, in where you need less players than playing outdoor. This past Saturday was our first game, in addition to it being my first time playing soccer indoor in general. I had an awesome time! We ended up wining the game 7 to 5. I brought to the team, my friend Edwin who also attends ASU with me and is my YMCA workout partner. He mentioned he use to play goalie, and boy did he do a fantastic job. Also, the AREA’s very own, me!, scored a goal!
